The basics

Does the title have legal validity?

No. It is a symbolic entertainment record, official only inside this site. It is not a document, a prize or an investment.

Terms · clause 1
Is this a bet, a raffle or gambling?

No. Each purchase creates a symbolic record on the spot, and who holds the post depends only on the amount paid and on the order in which payments are confirmed, with no luck and no random factor. Nobody receives money, goods, discounts or any economic advantage, not even the previous holder.

Terms · clause 1.1
Am I buying the title forever?

No. Another valid purchase can take the post at any time, with no minimum duration. Unless it is cancelled, your dated tenure stays in the history while the service operates, and a position in the queue never changes.

Terms · clause 5
Who can buy?

The Ego Registry is not meant for children or teenagers. Purchasing is only for people aged 18 or older, who declare their age by ticking the confirmation on the order.

Terms · clause 2
A minor bought. What now?

The legal guardian asks support to annul the purchase with the order number; we confirm through the email of the purchase or the payment details, without asking the family for documents. We refund the full amount, remove the card and the declarations, close the account and, if asked, block new purchases from that email address. If the purchase still held the post, the post goes back to whoever held it before.

Terms · clause 2.1
Does the verified badge verify who I am?

No. It is a symbolic title of the Registry. It verifies no identity, fame or account on another platform.

Rules · The Only Verified Person

Price and payment

How much does it cost?

The first record of a title costs $5.00, and each new purchase must be at least $0.10 above the last one. You may offer more. The Queue to Nowhere and The Last Person Online always cost $5.00.

Terms · clause 3
Is there a maximum amount?

There is no cap of our own. From $1,000.00, the review of the order shows a warning; from $10,000.00, you confirm the amount in a box of its own; and from $100,000.00, the order waits for approval before any charge, with an answer by email within 24 hours.

Terms · clause 3
Do I pay only the difference?

No. Each purchase charges the whole amount chosen, and the previous holder receives nothing of it.

Terms · clause 3
How can I pay?

By credit or debit card in a single payment, through Stripe, up to the limit of one charge. The card number is typed into the secure fields of Stripe and never reaches our servers.

Terms · clause 3
How long do I have to pay?

Five minutes after creating the order. On an order that waits for approval, you have 12 hours after the approval to open the payment, and the five minutes count from then. From $10,000.00, check first that your card limit covers the amount. A payment that arrives late does not guarantee the record and, when it cannot be fulfilled, comes back in full, automatically.

Terms · clauses 3 and 9
When does my name appear?

Right after the payment is confirmed, and the order page shows each step; if your name is held for review, the record goes out as Anonymous holder until the review. The certificate and the images are available within 24 hours of that confirmation; if that does not happen, you may cancel with a full refund, even outside the cancellation period.

Terms · clause 4
Do you issue an invoice?

Yes. CADRAX issues the tax document and attaches it to the order page, under Fiscal documents. The Stripe receipt does not replace the invoice.

Terms · clause 17

Disputing a title

Does losing the title give me a refund?

No. A regular takeover does not refund your purchase. The cancellation period still applies to each purchase.

Terms · clauses 5 and 7
Can I reinforce my title?

If the category allows it and you are still the holder, yes, after signing in. The reinforcement is a new purchase, of any amount from the next minimum, and that amount becomes the amount of the post.

Terms · clause 6
What if someone pays at the same time?

Each name, title, word, date or throne accepts one reservation at a time. If your payment arrives after the post has changed hands, we refund the whole amount, automatically.

Terms · clause 9
How long does a dispute last?

Each category says on its own page how long its dispute runs. The Last Word, The Only Verified Person, and The One-Member Club are disputed by season, from January 1 to December 31 in UTC, with purchases until 11:30 p.m. on their last day, and whoever holds the post of each at the end is recorded as its holder at the closure.

Rules · article 5

Cancellation and refund

Can I change my mind?

Yes, within seven full days, or fourteen if you live in the EU, the EEA or the UK, with no reason and a full refund, even after downloading the files or losing the post. The period starts on the day after the purchase or the first essential delivery, whichever comes later, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on its last day, on Anywhere on Earth time.

Terms · clause 7
How do I ask to cancel?

On the order page, in the Cancellation and support panel; a change of mind is accepted at once. Without access to the account, ask in Cancellation and support with the order number and the email of the payment: we send a link for you to confirm, and the date of the request is kept.

Terms · clause 7.1
When does the money come back?

The refund starts as soon as the cancellation is accepted, to the original card and with no fees deducted; it then follows the timeline of the card issuer. Only if the card refund is refused or fails do we send the amount by bank transfer to an account in the name of the payer. The order page shows when the money was returned.

Terms · clause 8
What happens to the post if I cancel?

If your purchase held the current post, the last valid holder returns, with no new charge for them, and the next minimum is calculated on their amount.

Terms · clause 8
I was charged twice. What now?

Ask to cancel with the reason I was charged twice or contact support. An undue charge is refunded in full, even after the cancellation period.

Terms · clause 9

Card and declaration

What is the signature card?

It is your public identity: a public name or pseudonym, an optional city and up to six links. It signs every record of your email address, and only the public name goes on the certificates and images.

Terms · clause 10
Can I use a nickname?

Yes. Nobody checks civil names. Just do not impersonate anyone.

Terms · clauses 10 and 11
Can I change my card?

City and links whenever you like; the name once every 30 days. A change may wait for review, and until then the records show the previous card.

Terms · clause 10
Can I add a link to my website?

Yes: the card takes a website, besides the profiles on Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook and YouTube. A new or changed website only appears after moderation reviews it, and the form refuses addresses of betting, gambling or sexual content, such as .bet or .xxx.

Terms · clause 10
And the declaration?

It is the sentence of each record, up to 120 characters, in the categories that show it. It changes freely in the first 24 hours, then once every seven days, and freezes when someone takes the post. You can always withdraw it.

Terms · clause 10
How do I take my name off the site?

In My Account, hide the card from a record or use Anonymise everything, which removes your identity from every record for good. The purchase and the history remain, without your name.

Privacy · section 7

Account and data

How do I sign in to my account?

Ask for a link with the email of the purchase. It is valid for 15 minutes and only once; there is no password.

Privacy · section 6
Who looks after my data?

CADRAX TECNOLOGIA LTDA, the controller of the data. As a small-scale processing agent, it handles directly, through privacy@egoregistry.online, the requests of data subjects and the communications of the ANPD.

Privacy · section 1
Do you sell my data?

No. We also do not rent or give away data, use nobody’s personal data for targeted advertising or build advertising profiles. Your email never appears in public and only travels to whoever processes the payment and hosts the site, or to authorities, by court order or when the law requires.

Privacy · section 4
How do I ask for a copy or the deletion of my data?

In My Account, Download my data hands you at once a file with what we keep about you, except the access logs, which you ask for separately. To delete data or make other requests, write to privacy@egoregistry.online: we answer within 15 days and explain what the law obliges us to keep, such as the proof of a payment.

Privacy · section 7
Do you keep my IP?

Yes, because the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework requires it: at each sign-in and each relevant action, such as buying or reporting, we keep for 6 months, encrypted, the date and time, the IP and the source port. Pages merely visited are not logged. We hand these logs over only by court order or when the law requires a crime to be reported, and we keep them longer only in the cases the Privacy Policy provides, such as a request of an authority. You may ask privacy@egoregistry.online for a copy of yours.

Privacy · section 10
Where is my data processed?

Mostly in the United States: Cloudflare hosts the site and the database there; Google Analytics, only with your permission, processes the metrics in the United States and other countries; and Stripe, which processes the payment, is a company in the United States. The supplier is established in Brazil.

Privacy · section 5
Which cookies do you use?

The essential ones, for the account, the order and security, are always on. Usage metrics, with Google Analytics, our own metrics and the count of who is watching now, only turn on with your yes and never with Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track active. Change or withdraw your permission in the cookie preferences, through the link in the footer.

Privacy · section 8
And Google Analytics?

It only works with your permission, on the public pages and on the payment page, never in My Account, contact, cancellation, report or access. It receives the page, the category, the campaign, the cookie identifier and device and browser data and, on a purchase, the code and the amount of the order, but never your email, name or declaration. Google also receives the IP address, to estimate the approximate location, and says it does not store it. Event and user data are kept 14 months, not renewed by new activity; aggregated reports may remain.

Privacy · sections 5 and 8
Can I change the email of my account?

Yes, through privacy@egoregistry.online. The card and the declarations you correct directly in My Account.

Privacy · section 7

Content and moderation

What can I not write?

Nothing illegal or offensive, no political or electoral propaganda, and no promotion of businesses, betting, gambling or sexual content. Impersonating someone, naming a real person without their permission, publishing document numbers or contact details, yours or anyone else’s, or data of a child beyond their first name is not allowed either.

Terms · clause 11
Can I use the name of a celebrity or a brand?

The catalog uses no third-party brands or names. On the card and in the declaration, you may not impersonate anyone or suggest a link with a celebrity or a brand, or their endorsement.

Terms · clauses 11 and 13
How do I report a record?

Through Report content, in the footer of the site, including for criminal or unlawful content. To receive the decision, say which content, the reason and who you are; without identification, the report counts as an alert and is reviewed in the same way, without messages to you.

Terms · clause 11.1
How fast do you review a report?

We acknowledge receipt and decide within 24 hours; a person always decides, and no report takes content down on its own. The decision goes, with its grounds and the way to contest it, to whoever reported with identification and, if the content comes down, to whoever published it too; a contest is answered within 24 hours.

Terms · clause 11.1
My card was refused. What now?

The reason appears in My Account. Rewrite and send again, or ask support for a review.

Terms · clause 11

Help desk

How do I talk to you?

Through Contact the Registry, which gives a protocol, or at support@egoregistry.online. Every message receives at once an acknowledgement with the date of receipt and the deadline, and the answer goes to your email. You may also turn to the consumer protection authorities or to the courts whenever you wish.

Terms · clause 15
How fast do you answer?

Within five calendar days, with the solution or a reasoned position; the automatic acknowledgement does not count as an answer. Requests about personal data, sent to privacy@egoregistry.online, are answered within 15 days.

Terms · clause 15
What if the Registry closes?

We give notice by email and on the site at least 90 days in advance; on the day of the notice, sales and reinforcements stop, and whoever holds a post is recorded as its holder at the closure. Until the final date, you consult and download records, certificates and accepted terms; after it, a static archive of the public registry stays online for 12 months. Orders still within their cancellation period remain cancellable with a full refund. If an order of an authority or an event beyond our control prevents the 90 days’ notice, we give notice as soon as possible and keep the same rights.

Terms · clause 16
