What you buy

You are buying a dated entertainment record: a public page on The Ego Registry and digital files, including a landscape certificate in PNG and PDF. The record is official only inside this site. It confers no civil identity, intellectual property, professional qualification, office, prize or right over other people, and it is not an investment: there is no yield, no resale and no exchange value. The registry language is part of the joke; no public authority takes part in the service.

Who may buy

The Ego Registry is not meant for children or teenagers. Purchasing is only for people aged 18 or older. When you buy, you declare that you are of that age, by ticking the confirmation on the order, and that you use an email address under your control, which is the key to My Account. To confirm your age we ask for no document, date of birth or biometrics; the text of the confirmation you ticked is kept in the accepted terms of the order.

Price, payment and confirmation

The price appears before payment. The first record of a title costs $5.00, and each new purchase must be at least $0.10 above the last one; you may offer more. The Queue to Nowhere and The Last Person Online have a fixed price of $5.00. Each purchase charges the full amount chosen, never the difference. We add no fee or tax to it; your card issuer may add its own fees, such as a foreign transaction fee, or local taxes, because we are based in Brazil. So that no high amount goes unnoticed: from $1,000.00, the review of the order shows a warning; from $10,000.00, you also confirm the amount in a box of its own; and from $100,000.00, the order waits for the approval of the operation before any charge.

Stripe processes the payment by credit or debit card, in a single payment, from entries of $5.00 up to the limit that the card network and your bank accept for one charge. We never receive your card number: it is typed into the secure fields of Stripe. Once the order is created, you have 5 minutes to pay. On an order that waits for the approval of the operation, the answer arrives by email within 24 hours; once approved, you have 12 hours to open the payment, and the 5 minutes count from then. Meanwhile the post stays on sale, and your offer stands while it covers the minimum of the moment; if the minimum passes it, the order closes with no charge. From $10,000.00, the review also asks you to check that your card limit covers the amount in a single payment. A late payment does not guarantee the record and, when it cannot be fulfilled, is refunded automatically.

Publication and delivery

Once the payment is confirmed, we publish the record right away, with your express authorisation, and make the certificate in PNG and PDF and the four images for social networks available within 24 hours of that confirmation. If that does not happen in time, you may cancel with a full refund, even outside the cancellation period. The first essential delivery happens when the page of the record and the certificate are ready. The files carry the public name, the title, the protocol, the date and the amount or the position, and may mention up to three previous holders, with the amounts they paid; city, links and declaration appear only on the page. The order page shows payment, publication and delivery separately, and the files stay available while the service operates. Authorising immediate publication does not take away your right to cancel.

Reinforcements and history

In the categories that allow it, the current holder may reinforce the post after signing in. A reinforcement is a new, independent purchase, of any amount from the next minimum, with its own accepted terms and cancellation period, and its amount becomes the current amount of the post. Your dated tenure stays in the history while the service operates, subject to cancellation, moderation, withdrawal of the public identity and legal obligations.

Seven days to change your mind

You may cancel each purchase within seven days, with no reason and a full refund, even after downloading, sharing or losing the post; if you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the period is fourteen days, and the review of your order states it. The period starts on the day after the later of the purchase and the first essential delivery and ends at 11:59 p.m. on its last day, on Anywhere on Earth time (UTC−12); if the essential delivery never happens, the period never starts. More favourable legal periods or rights prevail, and immediate publication does not take this right away.

Refund and its effects on the record

An accepted cancellation annuls only that purchase and refunds the full amount to the card it was paid with, with no fees deducted; the refund then follows the timeline of the card issuer. Only if the card refund is refused or fails do we send the amount by bank transfer to an account in the name of the payer. If the purchase held the current post, the last valid holder returns, with no new charge, and the next minimum is calculated on their amount. Other purchases are not refunded automatically. A partial refund exists only with your written agreement; it does not annul the record and does not reduce the original amount used in the dispute, and any monetary adjustment the law requires remains guaranteed. The order page tells an accepted cancellation, a pending refund and money actually returned apart.

Failures and undue charges

If something goes wrong on our side, such as a duplicate charge, a confirmed payment without publication, files that are not ready within 24 hours or information that differs from the offer, you are entitled to a correction, a partial refund or a refund even after the cancellation period, as consumer protection law guarantees. If a payment cannot be fulfilled, because it arrives late or after the post has changed hands, we refund the whole amount automatically.

Your signature card and your declaration

The signature card is your public identity: a public name or pseudonym of 2 to 40 characters, an optional city and up to six links (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube and a website). It signs every record of your email address; the name changes at most once every 30 days, and the city and links whenever you like. The declaration is the sentence of each record, up to 120 characters, in the categories that show it. If a purchase with your email address brings another card, the record goes out with the current card, and the new version waits as a proposal for 30 days for you to apply or discard in My Account.

The card form refuses addresses of betting, gambling or sexual content, such as those ending in .bet, .casino, .poker, .porn, .xxx, .adult, .sex and the like, and a new or changed website only appears on the card after moderation reviews it. Mentions of betting or adult content in the public name, the declaration or the usernames of the social networks hold the text for human review.

You may hide the card from a record, withdraw the declaration at any time or use Anonymise everything, which removes your identity from every record for good; none of this undoes the purchase or erases the sequence of the history. You remain the owner of your content and authorise us to publish it only as far as needed to show the record and generate its files.

Brand, artwork and use of the files

The Ego Registry brand, the Registrar, the illustrations, the certificate templates and the code of the site belong to CADRAX. You receive a free licence, with no end date, to use and share the files of your record, including in commercial communication, without altering the brand and without claiming state authority, third-party verification, ownership of a name or word or endorsement by anyone. The catalog uses no third-party brands or names, and names, words and dates are in common use: the record gives no exclusivity outside the site, and the rights of others still apply.

Privacy and communications

We process the data needed for the purchase, the payment, the delivery, support, the security of the service and legal obligations; usage metrics, testimonials and other optional uses depend on your permission, as the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms, describes. Purchase, payment and support messages reach the email of the purchase without depending on consent; news and invitations only with your yes, at most 4 a week and always with an unsubscribe link. The public identity may be withdrawn at any time, whatever the financial state of the order.

Under the Brazilian Internet Civil Framework (art. 15), we keep for 6 months, encrypted and confidential, the access logs of each sign-in and of each relevant action, such as buying, declaring or reporting, with the date and time, the IP address and the source port. We hand them over only by court order or when the law requires a crime to be reported to the authorities, and we keep them longer only in the cases the Privacy Policy provides. The site runs on the infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc., mainly in the United States, and Google Analytics receives data only with your permission: the section on international transfers of the Privacy Policy explains where the data are and on which grounds.

Customer support

The support of CADRAX receives questions, complaints and requests for cancellation or review through Contact the Registry, which gives a protocol, and by email at support@egoregistry.online. Every message, by the form or by email, opens a case in the support system of the site itself and at once receives an automatic acknowledgement with the date of receipt and the deadline for an answer. We answer through that system, at the email given, within five calendar days, with the solution or a reasoned position; the automatic acknowledgement does not count as an answer. Requests about personal data go to privacy@egoregistry.online and are answered within 15 days. Messages are kept for 90 days after the case closes. Support is one more channel, never an obstacle: you may turn to the consumer protection authorities or to the courts whenever you wish.

Tax document

CADRAX TECNOLOGIA LTDA issues the tax document of the service as the applicable obligation requires and attaches it to the order page, under Fiscal documents, with a notice by email. The Stripe receipt proves the payment and does not replace the invoice. Cancellations and partial refunds receive the corresponding tax treatment.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, the Rules and the Privacy Policy, and each version has a number and a date. A new version of these terms or of the Rules applies only to purchases made after its publication: your order stays governed by the version you accepted, kept on your order. In the Privacy Policy, what depends on your consent only changes with your yes. We do not reduce the rights of earlier purchases, unless the law requires it, and changes that only extend rights apply to everyone. If a rule raises doubt, the interpretation most favourable to you prevails. We announce relevant changes on this site.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, where the supplier is established, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live. You may bring a claim in the courts of your domicile, and no clause removes rights the law guarantees you as a consumer.

Rules of the categories

The Rules are part of these terms and explain how each category is disputed, what the next minimum costs and when the dispute ends. A copy of the version you accepted is kept on your order, together with the rules of the category. Where a rule and these terms leave a doubt, the interpretation most favourable to you prevails.
